"It looks like a family run small hotel with a wonderful personalised service. We have stayed there for four days. The staff were wonderful especially the one attending to us at breakfast table. We enjoyed the breakfast so much. For a small price that we paid for, we are so full every morning and can even skip lunch!! The hotel's location is good. The hotel is beatifully decorated. The room is clean and come with mini fridge, telephone, heater, coffee making failities. There's free internet access at the hotel lobby!! Can't ask for more. Its simply wonderful... We were delighted to welcome Mr & Mrs Michael Dukakis and their friends to the Lincoln House Hotel.

Mr Dukakis, who was the Democratic Party Nominee for the Presidency of the United States of America and served for 2 terms as Governor of Massachusetts, was a very pleasant and friendly guest who stayed with us for almost a week.

We helped Mr Dukakis and his friends choose restaurants in the area and were able to advise them with their travel arrangements during their stay and also with their onward travel. Mr Dukakis thanked us for our help, good service and for making his stay more pleasant and was happy to pose for photographs with members of our staff.

"The hotel staff were really friendly and very helpful. They held our luggage for us on the last day after we checked out so we could do some more sight seeing before going home. The breafast was by far the best part of the stay. We paid extra to have a full english breakfast but you could have as much of it as you liked plus cerals and fruit and unlimited toast, tea, coffe, fruit juice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as it is so reasonably priced and so close to all the attractions, it is a couple of minutes walk from Oxford Street and Marble Arch.
